The Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan (AAAWM) helps older adults and those with disabilities stay independent and maintain their dignity at home and in their communities. Serving nine counties, AAAWM connects individuals to essential services, supports caregivers, and advocates for seniors. Committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion, the agency fosters an environment where everyone feels valued. As a nonprofit, AAAWM funds its programs through state and local sources, including the Kent County Senior Millage, ensuring quality care and support for those who need it most.
